On March 7, 2025, at 12:15 PM, Dr. KNMIET organized a pledge programme promoting ”Dahej Mukt Bharat” (Dowry-Free India) and ”Nasha Mukt Bharat” (Drug-Free India) as instructed by Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam Technical University. The event aimed to raise awareness about the social evils of dowry and substance abuse, encouraging students and faculty to take a firm stand against them. Participants solemnly pledged to reject dowry practices and refrain from drug use, promoting a healthier and more ethical society. The programme was well-conducted, with active participation from students, faculty members, and guests.
